As President of Preventing Domestic Violence Resources Center Inc. for the past 5 years, as well as throughout her brilliant professional career, Ms. Simpkins has routinely demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be considered among the best.
Preventing Domestic Violence Resources Center Inc. is a nonprofit human services agency that provides long-term and short-term stay services for battered women. The organization also offers education, nutritional counseling, employment, and housing opportunities. Sonia is responsible for managing all major aspects of the organization as well as overseeing the daily operations.
During her collegiate career, Sonia earned a Master's degree in Management from Troy University. She is a member of the Army National Guard. In the time away from her busy schedule, Ms. Simpkins is an avid sports enthusiast who greatly enjoys exercising.
